Luca Galeano

Artist Biography

Luca Galeano is a renowned Italian guitarist, composer, and educator, recognized for his work in pop, rock, fusion, and meditative music. He is currently a Pop/Rock Guitar professor at the Conservatorio Statale "A. Corelli" in Messina, where he mentors the next generation of musicians.

As a founding member of Sugarfree, Luca contributed to their Gold and Platinum-certified success, with their hit Cleptomania topping the Italian charts for six consecutive weeks. The band also opened for Coldplay, Ligabue, Black Eyed Peas, and Avril Lavigne during their Italian concerts.

Luca has a long-standing collaboration with Mario Venuti, playing on three of his studio albums and touring extensively as part of his live band. He has also worked as a live guitarist for renowned artists, including Antonella Ruggiero, Levante, David Garrett, Mario Biondi, and many more.

In 2010, Luca released his first solo album, "Purple Cut", an instrumental rock-fusion project showcasing his exceptional guitar technique and artistic vision.

His live career includes performances at the prestigious Sanremo Festival, Concertone del 1° Maggio, Festivalbar, Top of the Pops, MTV Italia, and many others. Additionally, he has been a featured artist at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles, performing as a guitar demo artist across multiple years.

Luca has also performed at leading international festivals, including the 2024 Medicine Music Festival (UK), and Icaros Festival (Portugal).

In recent years, Luca has embarked on a transformative journey into medicine music, focusing on compositions that serve as tools for introspection, healing, and spiritual connection. His upcoming album, "Rezo Flow," is a testament to this path, blending acoustic guitar with elements that foster a meditative and heart-opening experience, marking therefore a new artistic phase.

With a career spanning live performances, studio recordings, film soundtracks, education, and artistic exploration, Luca Galeano continues to be a major force in the global music scene, pushing the boundaries of musical expression and inspiring audiences worldwide.
